The Animal Nanny approach to cat sitting & home care
Skilled Nannies
Our Nannies are not hobbyists or well-intentioned animal lovers, but trained, professional pet sitters who take a serious, safe (though fun-loving) approach to your cat’s care.
Substantial Visits
No quick 15-minute litter box stops. Your Nanny spends 30-40 minutes of quality time with your cat at each visit, looking to reduce any stress she may be feeling from your absence.
Husbandry Care
Your Nanny will feed your cat, supply fresh water, administer any medications, clear and refresh litter boxes, and do either a visual check for shy cats or a nose-to-tail check to monitor for good health.
Companionship
If your cat enjoys company, your Nanny will provide love and attention in the form your cat most enjoys, be that quiet companionship, a rousing flirt pole session, or a good ear scratch.
Home Care
We’ll bring in the mail and paper, take out the trash, water your plants, and adjust lights to deter would-be troublemakers.

A quick email or phone chat
To make sure we’re a great fit for you, we want to hear a bit about your needs and answer any questions you may have. We know you’re busy, so we can do this however works best for you—by email, via a quick phone chat at your convenience with our owner Marna, or you can fill out our New Client Inquiry Form.
A Free get-to-know-each other Consult
If our service meets your needs Marna will schedule a Consult Nanny to visit your home according to your schedule. Our Consult Nanny’s job is to answer any remaining questions, learn all about your cat and her needs, review everything you need done and where to find supplies, and give you a chance to meet us in person.
We assign you a Nanny
After your consult, our owner Marna will hand pick a Nanny for you and your cat, taking into account your cat’s personality and needs, each Nanny’s specialized knowledge and skills, and your location and trip timing.
You enjoy your trip
We’ll take excellent, loving care of your cat and your home so you can fully relax or focus on your trip. And for extra peace of mind your Nanny will post Nanny Notes to a digital journal after each visit so you know all is well back home.

Pet Sitting for Union City, Hayward, Fremont, and Newark cats
$30 for each 30-40 minute cat sitting visit for up to two animals
$95 per night for overnight pet sitting for up to two animals
Pet Sitting for Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon, and Dublin cats
$30 for each 30-40 minute cat sitting visit for up to two animals
$95 per night for overnight pet sitting for up to two animals
Pet Sitting for San Francisco cats
$35 for each 30-40 minute cat sitting visit for up to two animals
$100 per night for overnight pet sitting for up to two animals
